About the speaker
Dr Anita Takwale
Consultant Dermatologist
Dr Anita Takwale has been a Consultant Dermatologist within Gloucestershire's NHS hospitals since 2008. From 2020-2024, she was the Clinical Lead for the Dermatology department and, from 2019-2023, the President of the British Hair and Nail Society. Alongside her general interest in dermatology, Anita has special expertise in hair and nail disorders and skin cancer surgery.

Inflammatory Dermatology Nurse Specialist
Interested in all areas of Inflammatory Dermatology; specialising in Psoriasis, Eczema and Vulval Dermatology
First-class honours degree in Adult Nursing, Non-medical prescriber achieved at Masters Level
Foundation degree in Health and Holistic therapies from Worcester University.

I started as Clinical Fellow working at GRH dermatology since 2019.
I have a special interest in Paediatrics and Nail surgery.
