About the speaker

Dr Fiona Neiles
GP, Forensic Medical Practitioner Sexual Offences Medicine

After completing my undergrad in Forensic Science, I studied Medicine at Barts and the London, graduating in 2015. I entered the Obstetrics & Gynaecology training programme but took a break to work in A&E in London (during the pandemic to really challenge myself!) and decided to focus on women's health in primary rather than secondary care, moving to Gloucestershire to undertake GP training. During my GP training I started working as a Forensic Medical Practitioner in Sexual Offences Medicine, a role I continue to do now alongside my job as a salaried GP. I now work as a women's health GP. running specialist complex women's health and menopause clinics along with my FMP work, and I also do women's health teaching sessions with cancer charities, fitness studios and the University of Gloucestershire. In my spare time I love to get lost in a good book, travel, or can be found challenging myself with pole fit and aerial acrobatics.
